I truly mean no offense to those faithful readers of mine who liked the Twilight movie. I haven't seen it yet, so I honestly can't say if I will like it or not. Based on the trailers I've seen, I have my doubts, but I know a lot of Twilight fans loved it.
However, I just saw this link on Tristi Pinkston's blog, and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Thank you for the link, Tristi!
So, watch the spoof, and tell me what you think. Should I see Twilight? Should I skip it? Should I try to get DH to go with me so we can "experience" Twilight together, or should I avoid it so he doesn't think I'm crazy for liking such a book? I just ask that your comments be nice, either way. :)
I totally think you should see it, but leave the hubby home and go with friends.
ReplyDeleteNot a lot of comments yet. :) But it's okay because I already know what most of you out there think about it. :)
ReplyDeleteI had the chance to go with some friends last week, but I couldn't make it work out with my schedule. So... it's probably DH or bust. :)
That link was HILARIOUS! I sent the link out in an email to a bunch of people. The best part of the video is that they way they act is just like how they do in the movie. So, should you see it? Probably - even just for a good laugh. I'm one of those people who doesn't really care if the movie is different than what I imagined (I remember people being so mad about parts of the Harry Potter books being left out of the movies, but it didn't bug me). The Twilight movie is pretty silly, but I had fun - though all the girls in the audience sighing/squealing/gasping at everything Edward said and did was pretty distracting!
ReplyDeleteI love this spoof. I have it on my blog, too. Hmm . . . I don't know when the DVD is coming out. I really enjoyed going to see the movie, even took hubby with me for a rare movie night out. I would recommend going with girlfriends. :) If you still aren't sure, I'd hold out for the DVD. You can rent it on Red Box for $1, instead of paying $20 like we did.
